I received a copy of Snap, Crackle and Pop by Carol Kearney to read.
|Love this book cover it’s so retro!
I started reading it early afternoon whilst my daughter was happily playing. I was hooked into the story from the first paragraph! I couldn’t put the book down.
The story starts with a breakdown in a marriage and the events that follow had me laughing out loud and sad.
Without giving the plot away. The character Cathy goes from hitting rock bottom to finding her way back to a much happier life living self again – all at the age of 54.
Karma really did work it’s magic on her life. The story was so life like it was like I was watching a film. Or even witnessing the turn of events myself.
I love how the story flows and how at the end of each chapter it ends with the reader wanting to know more.
Carol has written this so well and I can’t wait to read more of her books.

I dedicate this review to Carol Kearney and her family. I have heard since reading her book that she’s sadly passed away. We had planned a short interview after reading and reviewing Snap, Crackle and Pop.My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time.
